The following terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Blue Signal Design. All work to be carried out based on agreement of these terms and conditions.

Copyright and Trademarks.

Once the design has been presented the client retains copyright on the finished iteration once all costs have been settled. If multiple designs are provided all copyright for the chosen design will given to the client, all other designs will remain the property of Blue Signal Design unless previously agreed in writing. Blue Signal Design reserve the right to use the completed design in any portfolio and promotional activity.

Any images, text or related materials provided must be the property or licensed for usage by the client. Blue Signal Design will not be held responsible for any breach of copyright on materials provided by the client.

Project Acceptance

After all initial discussions a copy of these terms will be provided to the client, with a full estimate of the works to be carried out. A copy of this document should be returned to Blue Signal Design with a written acceptance of the agreement, and these terms. This is a legal agreement of these terms and commencement of this project will not start until this document is received by Blue Signal Design.

Charges

All charges will be specified in the estimate provided to the client after the first discussion. This quotation will be valid for 30 days from the date shown on the quotation. The quotation may be subject to amendments or changes after this 30 day period has elapsed.

Payments

Unless previously agreed by the client a 50% payment must be made before commencement of works. All further payments will be made by invoice once all work has been completed. Payments can be made by cheque, PayPal, although Bank Transfer is the preferred method of payment.

Once an invoice has been issued for outstanding payments, the outstanding balance must be paid within 30 days of the date of invoice. Blue Signal Design reserve the right to remove any completed work as a result of non payment and a late payment charge will be applicable as a result.

Information usage

Blue Signal Design will make sure that any information held is accurate and up to date. This information will include, Name, Address, E-mail Address, Telephone Number and any information pertaining to the work in question. You have the right to opt out of any promotional activity at any time and the client will not be contacted unless permission has been given at a earlier date. Any information collected will kept private at all times and will never be sold to a third party.

Refunds

The client has the right to cancel at any time. If an advanced payment has been made, this will be non refundable unless a cancellation request has been received within 48 hours of the payment. If any work has been completed beyond the scope of the advance payment, this will be charged at the applicable hourly rate. All cancellation requests must be made by email.
