About Blue Signal Design

Blue Signal Design is the studio of Mike Chesworth, a website designer based in St Helens, Merseyside. Having spent 10 years as a customer advisor in the civil service, so I believe in ensuring that every customer is given the personal touch. One of my pet hates from working within a large organisation, was the ability for a customer to have a personal approach and deal with the same person all the time. So at Blue Signal Design, I believe that staying small is the answer.

So more about me.

I was born 34 years ago in the north west of England, in a small industrial town around 30 miles away from Liverpool. I have always had a passion for computing ever since I got my first ZX Spectrum. Since then I have been programming with languages such as Basic, Php, Html and CSS. Even though I have been working in customer service, I have been building Websites for about 10 years in my spare time where I have gained an eye for good design. I am also a keen musician, being able to play Guitar, Bass, and piano/keyboard having played in many bands over the years.

So what do we offer.

Here at Blue Signal design, WordPress is the tool of choice, due to it’s versatility and excellent community. So whatever the project we are able to design a WordPress site to your exact needs. Even though we love WordPress, it’s our belief that you should use the correct tool for the job, so if you need a smaller site we love to use Perch or if you want a large E-Commerce Site then Magento is the first choice for the job.
